While tactical communication helps to avoid creating a psychological condition conducive to escalating tensions, this phase of the conflict is not always possible (lack of time, psychological inaccessibility…) or will not bear the expected fruit (human error, new element…).
Conditions for the use of physical force
In line with the legal framework, it is adapted to the context and the risk.
Proportional to the injustice committed, it provides an immediate, effective and proportionate response.
Without brutality, the use of force must be controlled and an absolute necessity.
Rather than the upper limit of legality, our objective is the lower limit: the bare minimum needed to manage conflicting but non-violent individuals with humanity.
With no hard knocks, our tools are a great success with professionals who have to deal with difficult situations within an increasingly restrictive legal framework.
For security professionals, the intermediate force is, as its name suggests, in the middle of an arsenal of equipment and techniques. In fact, it is the force most often used in intervention, since it will be “swept up” on the way up and on the way down.
It offers a new approach to the notion of the continuum of force, taking a practical and constructive look at the problems of multiple weaponry*. It enables a firm response without dramatic consequences.
