{"id":18444,"date":"2023-12-29T10:27:47","date_gmt":"2023-12-29T10:27:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/yoursafety.training\/non-categorise\/urgency-of-restitution\/"},"modified":"2025-06-03T10:31:14","modified_gmt":"2025-06-03T10:31:14","slug":"urgency-of-restitution","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/yoursafety.training\/en\/yoursafety-training-s-blog\/urgency-of-restitution\/","title":{"rendered":"The urgency of restitution"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>What is the urgency of restitution?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>This theme is dear to my heart: when a problem becomes frequent and\/or intense, it&#8217;s urgent.<\/p>\n<p>Experience shows that denial, adorably human, distorts the perception of these conditions until the first conflict arises. 90% of my customers <strong>react<\/strong> to a violent traumatic event, while only <strong>10% prepare for it<\/strong> (often in a team-building atmosphere).<\/p>\n<h2>Prioritizing immediate survivability over long-term mastery<\/h2>\n<p><em>\u201cWe don&#8217;t have the luxury of time. The next attack might happen tonight, not four years from now. Our job is to give people the tools to survive now \u2014 not someday.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>If the &#8220;Denial, aggression, awareness&#8221; pathway characterizes the <em>customer journey<\/em> of safety training, those in charge of teaching must keep their eyes on the <strong>urgency of restitution<\/strong>: if the problem occurs tonight, tomorrow or in three years&#8217; time, what tools will my students be able to use?<\/p>\n<p>We select the best tools and continually update our pedagogical engineering. <strong>The aim is to do as much as possible with as few resources as possible.<\/strong> So the \u201cdeath tornado\u201d jump kick will never be our priority.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What is the urgency of restitution?
