Privacy policy

Privacy policy pursuant to Article 13 of EU Regulation No. 2016/679 (hereinafter, the "GDPR").

EU Regulation No. 2016/679 protects the confidentiality of personal data in order to preserve the freedom and rights of data subjects, and therefore imposes a number of obligations on those who "process" personal information relating to other individuals. Among the most important obligations required by law is that of informing data subjects and obtaining their consent to processing in the cases prescribed, in particular for processing activities where the data must be disclosed to other parties.

Purposes of processing

In light of the above, we therefore have the honour of informing you, pursuant to the aforementioned Article 13 of the GDPR, that the undersigned company collects and processes data concerning your business without your express consent (art. 24 lett. a), b), c) of the Privacy Code and art. 6 lett. b), e) GDPR) for purposes related to the management of ordinary business relationships, specifically for:

  • compiling basic lists;
  • maintaining customer/supplier accounts;
  • invoicing and creditor management;
  • fulfilling all obligations required by applicable regulations.

Your data may also be processed for purely internal statistical and market research purposes, only with your specific and separate consent (articles 23 and 130 of the Privacy Protection Code and art. 7 of the GDPR), for the following marketing purposes:

  • sending you, by email, post and/or SMS and/or phone contact, newsletters, commercial communications and/or advertising material about products or services offered by the data controller, as well as customer satisfaction surveys about service quality;
  • sending you, by email, post and/or SMS and/or phone contact, commercial and/or promotional communications from third parties.

Processing methods

Your personal data is processed by means of the operations set out in art. 4 of the Privacy Code and art. 4 no. 2) of the GDPR, namely: collection, recording, organisation, storage, consultation, elaboration, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, use, interconnection, blocking, communication, cancellation and destruction of data.

Your personal data is processed both on paper and electronically and/or by automated means, using IT and manual tools, with all necessary precautions to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the information.

Retention period

The controller will process your personal data for as long as necessary to achieve the above-mentioned purposes and, in any case:

  • for a maximum period of 10 years from the end of the relationship, for administrative/accounting purposes;
  • for a maximum period of 2 years from the collection of the data, for marketing purposes.

Data recipients

Your data may also be shared with third parties, exclusively for technical and operational requirements strictly related to the purposes set out above, and in particular to the following categories of parties:

  • entities, professionals, companies or other organisations we have appointed for processing related to the fulfilment of administrative, accounting and management obligations connected to the normal course of our business, including for debt collection purposes;
  • public authorities and administrations for purposes related to the fulfilment of legal obligations;
  • banks, financial institutions or other entities to which the transfer of the above-mentioned data is necessary for carrying out our company's activities in connection with the fulfilment of our contractual obligations to you.

Your rights

As a data subject, you have the rights provided for by Article 7 of the Privacy Protection Code and Article 15 of the GDPR, including in particular the following rights:

To obtain confirmation of whether or not personal data concerning you exists, even if not yet recorded, and its communication in an intelligible form.

To obtain information about:

  • the origin of the personal data;
  • the purposes and methods of processing;
  • the logic applied in the case of processing carried out using electronic tools;
  • the identity of the data controller, the data processors and the designated representative pursuant to art. 5, paragraph 2 of the Privacy Code and art. 3, paragraph 1 of the GDPR;
  • the parties or categories of parties to whom the personal data may be disclosed, or who may become aware of it in their capacity as designated representative within the national territory, data processors or persons in charge of processing.

To obtain:

  • the updating, correction or, where applicable, integration of the data;
  • the cancellation, anonymisation or blocking of data processed in violation of the law, including data whose retention is not necessary for the purposes for which the data was collected or subsequently processed;
  • confirmation that the operations referred to in points a) and b) have been notified, including with regard to their content, to the parties to whom the data was disclosed or communicated, unless this proves impossible or involves a disproportionate effort in relation to the right to be protected.

To object, in whole or in part:

  • on legitimate grounds, to the processing of personal data concerning you, even where relevant to the purpose of the collection;
  • to the processing of personal data concerning you for the purpose of sending advertising or direct marketing material, or for carrying out market research or commercial communication, by means of automated calling systems without operator intervention, by email and/or by traditional telephone or postal marketing methods.

Note that the right of objection of the data subject, as set out in point b) above, for direct marketing purposes by automated means, extends to traditional marketing methods, and that in any case the data subject's right of objection may also be exercised in part. The data subject may therefore decide to receive only communications by traditional means, only automated communications, or neither type of communication.

Where applicable, you also have the rights set out in Articles 16 to 21 of the GDPR (right of rectification, right to erasure, right to restriction of processing, right to data portability, right to object), as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
