AGENAS accreditation

AGENAS Accreditation (Agenzia Nazionale per i Servizi Sanitari Regionali) is an official label in Italy enabling training organizations to offer ECM (Educazione Continua in Medicina) courses.

ECMs are compulsory training courses for healthcare professionals (doctors, nurses, pharmacists, etc.), to ensure that their skills are continuously updated. For an ECM course to be recognized, the training organization must obtain AGENAS accreditation, which validates pedagogical quality, scientific relevance and compliance with national standards.

An AGENAS-accredited organization can issue ECM credits, which are essential if healthcare professionals are to meet their continuing education obligations in Italy.

My course “Management of agitated patients in hospitals” has been accredited by providers (training organizations) and directly by hospitals.
