What is your level of risk at work?

The perception of risk and the resulting suffering are often subjective, and this personal sensitivity must be respected. To help you, we offer you our risk scale to assess your exposure to violence.

incivilities

low risk

We perceive a deterioration in relations with the public, and we want to equip ourselves with the tools we need to maintain harmonious relations on a daily basis.

BOARD

Learn to control stress and understand stressors with the TOP© initial training module.

Verbal aggression

MEDIUM RISK
We are regularly the victims of verbal aggression (insults, threats…) and the quality of life at work suffers as a result. We have difficulty recruiting and retaining staff.

BOARD

Tactical communication remains the basis: communication hygiene. It prepares you for the “physical” modules by giving you the right habits to tackle each situation safely.

physical hazards

SERIOUS RISK
Our teams are constantly the target of insults and physical intimidation, and we have to protect ourselves to guarantee our safety. People are aggressive or very resistant. We file complaints with the police and experience numerous temporary work stoppages.

BOARD

Tactical communication remains fundamental to conflict management, as it enables physical aggression to be avoided in 90% of cases. I recommend working on “self-protection” techniques to absorb attacks while limiting damage, and resolve common problems with the minimum of force.

Violent assaults

DANGER
We feel overwhelmed by the level of violence. Our work represents a real danger, both physically and psychologically. People are violent and often armed. Some of our staff have been deeply traumatized, injured or killed.

BOARD

Handling violent individuals requires specialized training and remains the exclusive role of armed, experienced professionals. I do not claim to provide such expertise and encourage you to contact the police.
