The vocation of the ResponsAbility training framework lies in its title: to enable everyone to give a response commensurate with their skills.
Even if self-defense doesn’t exist for everyone, I’m convinced that every team member can contribute to the safety of the group.
So I’ve chosen to draw inspiration from emergency medicine to give critical skills to as many people as possible, in the hope that our communities can benefit from them on D-Day. To keep with the allegory, I don’t train cardiologists, but first-aiders, the people who save you on the side of the road.
Your Safety Training and its partners train your teams to manage tensions, from verbal to physical conflict, in line with your context and risk level.
In brief
- Don’t give up, thanks to a guilt-relieving (“I can do little”) but also empowering (“little is not optional”) approach.
- Saving survival time while waiting for highly qualified personnel.
- Exercise force within the low limits of the legal framework to act humanely in all circumstances.
